What is Nano-hydroxyapatite?

Hydroxyapatite is the main component of tooth enamel, it is present in about 97% of their structure. It is produced artificially in the form of nanoparticles, and due to the right ratio of calcium to phosphorus, it exhibits identical properties to its natural counterpart. Penetrating deep into the tubules of dentin, nHAp combines with the mineral present in the teeth — enamel remineralization occurs and thus minimizes painful hypersensitivity. After the procedure, the teeth are lighter, and their surface is smooth and shiny.

How is PrevDent teeth whitening performed?

To begin with, we interview the patient to find out his expectations. Next, we perform a thorough diagnosis of the oral cavity. Teeth must be properly prepared — we recommend performing the procedure hygienization. Regenerative whitening We can divide it into three stages:

Stage 1: 15—20 minutes
Protection of the oral cavity and application of a protective preparation to the gums.
Stage 2: approx. 1 hour
Application on the teeth of a preparation that removes discoloration. Applying an active whitening gel to the enamel and turning on the lamp (the session lasts about 10 minutes). In order for whitening to be effective, we repeat the actions several times.
Stage 3: 10-15 minutes

What are the recommendations after the procedure?

You should stick to the rule - you should not eat anything that could stain a white shirt!

‍At least 24 hours after the procedure, it is recommended to maintain the so-called white diet. The white diet is the avoidance of products containing any dyes (such as: coffee, tea, cola, red wine, soy sauce, blueberries, beets, etc.).

How long will my teeth stay white?

The whitening effect of PrevDent can last from 2 to 3 years. However, to enjoy a beautiful smile for longer, you should avoid consuming a lot of coffee, tea, red wine (etc.) and smoking cigarettes. The color of the teeth is also influenced by oral hygiene. Regular use of brand toothpaste PrevDent helps maintain the whiteness of teeth. Whitening methods are different.
